P.S. I Love You.

Sunglasses: Santee Alley in LA
Blazer: F21
Sweater: Ben Sherman
Skirt: F21
Knee-highs: Target
Booties: F21

I started my job today! Well, it technically wasn't my "first" day since I was previously interning there, but it was my first day as an employee and it was even better then being an intern! I honestly can say I love where I work. :) These next few weeks are going to be rough for me though.. juggling two jobs now, plus a 9 page research paper on top of all my other finals and final projects. It's a bit overwhelming and I have a serious procrastination problem.. so wish me luck. Oh how I wish I could be done with all this boring general ed and only study fashion..
Don't forget to follow me on Twitter, and if you have any fashion questions or need advice, ask me here!!

Lucky Feather.

Fedora: Flea Market
Blouse: Santee Alley in LA
Jeans: 2.1 Denim
Sandals: Urban Outfitters
Necklace: Unique LA

I'm really lovin all the feathers lately. Got this necklace at Unique LA yesterday.. totally in love with it minus the fact that it does not seem to want to stay the right way! It flipped to the back side the whole day.. quite bummed. I also got a little gold feather necklace. I'm tellin ya, feathers are most definitely in.
Good news! My internship ended BUT, don't fear, they hired me! So I am now employed at the cutest, most inspiring store I know and I couldn't be happier. When one door closes, another opens. Thank goodness. Looking forward to this Sunday.. Twii of Breakfast at Twiis is hosting a tea party! Can't wait to indulge in fashion and sip on our tea!

Unique LA.

Denim Dress: Urban Outfitters
Wedges: Steve Madden
Purse: Vintage

Today I went to Unique LA for the second time. It's an event held every 6 months at the California Mart in LA showcasing local artists and designers. It is so fun and inspiring and I always come home with an empty wallet :0 I bought a few new pieces of one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry as well as a few new shirts. I saw the coolest ideas and I feel so inspired to start making things now! More exciting news, I got a bathing suit from the new Zac Posen line for Target! It's super cute and I can't wait till it gets warm enough to wear it! This may be a crazy thing to say, but I think all you shopaholics out there can level with me on this.. at times I feel like I shop a lot, and buy things I don't necessarily need.. but I like to think of shopping as my hobby, my sport, my passion. And just like any other sport or passion, you spend you're time and money on it.. that's how shopping is for me :)
Hope you all had a great weekend.. not looking forward to Monday.

Follow Friday.

This week for Follow Friday, I chose one of my very close friends, Taryn of Style-Phenomenon. Her 1 year of blogging is approaching and I thought what a perfect time to make sure my followers have taken a peak at her amazing blog. In fact, she is the one that got me into blogging. Hers is incredible and she is so computer savvy unlike me :( So I read her blog, envious of her computer skills and dream of the day I will be able to do the things she does. She has such a keen eye for fashion and I'm in love with her style. Take a look at Style-Phenomenon, and congratulate her on her 1 year!

T-Shirt: Urban Outfitters
Tube Skirt: F21
Sandals: Urban Outfitters

Today was a t-shirt day. I felt like being extra comfy so I threw on this new tee I got on sale at Urban. Do you ever buy a graphic tee because you like the way it looks but you have no idea what it's for? I have no idea what this shirt means, I just liked the way it looked :) haha! I think it's awesome that comfy can still be cute. I love the dressed up sweatpants look that's in style right now because let me just say this, I have 2 drawers full of sweat pants.. enough said. I love being comfy and that always wins when deciding on an outfit or when I shop. Although there are times I make exceptions. Like I said before, the pains we go through for fashion.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!

Zac-Attack.

And the countdown begins for the release date of Zac Posen's new fun and affordable line for Target. The line doesn't officially drop until April 25, but I suggest picking your favorites now. Above are a few of my favorites. I love that Target is working with big designers like Alexander Mcqueen and most recently Anna Sui to allow fashion obsessed girls like myself to turn dreams of wearing big designers into reality. The line will only be offered for about a month, so be sure to head on over to Target and check out these amazing pieces.

How much wood can a wood chuck chuck?

Dress: F21
Wooden Heels: Steve Madden
Lipstick: Strawberry Suede Matte by Revlon

1. Elizabeth and James- $350
2. Bakers- $59
3. Steve Madden- $149
4. Jeffrey Campbell- $125

Yes. It's true. Clogs are back. At first I was shocked and could not wrap my mind around why on earth these clunkers would be an upcoming trend. But after doing a little bit of searching, and seeing all you bloggers out there finding cute ways to wear them, I found that there are some decent clogs out there! Above are a few of my favorites. And on my feet are an old pair of Steve Madden's with a wooden heel that I haven't worn in way too long. This is exactly why I can never get rid of old clothes, you never know when they'll be back in style!

Earth Day Design Contest.

Yesterday I got the honor to participate in a contest at Bloomingdale's consisting of designing a dress and making it out of the brown paper Bloomingdale's bags in an hour and half. We worked in groups of 3 in the middle of the store, for everyone to watch. I worked on the whole bottom of the dress while my two teammates worked on the top. We got second place, but won a $50 giftcard to Bloomie's :) The other team had an amazing dress and definitely deserved to win. All that matters is that I had fun, and I did indeed. :)
