Sunday Shopping Day.

Shirt: Rojas at Unique LA
Linen Pants: Forever 21
Purse: Vintage
Sandals: Cutesy Girl
Watch: Geneva

This is my definition of a shopping outfit.. comfy, loose, easy to get on and off, yet still chic and fashionable. I got these wide-leg linen pants a while back and kind of forgot I had them. I'm glad I wore them because it reminded me of how comfy they are. Only down-side to linen.. it wrinkles :( I was good and only got a few new things.. but I can't wait to wear them!

Yes Please.

[harem pants + cheetah print= loveatfirstsight]
[lovin all the lace]
[Blazers, florals, high-waisted denim, clunky shoes!!]
[these shorts are amazing!]
[need these pants]

A few looks from Zara's Lookbook. I am in love with every single one. I love how chic Zara's clothes are. They're always right on top of the latest trends. I'm drooling over the pants on the bottom and think I might just need to go get them. :)

Happy Friday! Had my internship yesterday and got to do a ton of displays of new merchandise. I was always interested in fashion design, but now I'm starting to think I really like the merchandising end as well. I've always had a dream to own my own store some day, so I'm glad I am getting to experience the buying and merchandising process of having a store.. it'll come in handy in the future :) This weekend is loaded with birthday dinners/partys.. lots of friends with Febuary birthdays! Hope you all have a great weekend!

Silence&Noise

[sketched my outfit]

Oversized Sweater: Silence & Noise, Urban Outfitters
Socks: Target
Boots: random boutique
Necklaces: Unique LA and F21
Watch: Geneva

I'm sick :( And this was such a comfy sweater for a sick day at school and work. I love that it has pockets, it's simply amazing. I never get a chance to wear this necklace but I really like it. It's got so much going on that I have to be careful that I pair it with something really simple. So I dressed up this simple oversized sweater with it. I also decided to sketch my outfit today. I need to get in the habit of sketching more often, I just get so busy and it gets tough finding the time, so I'm going to start sketching a majority of my daily outfits. Hope you all enjoy them and get inspired to sketch your outfits!! :)

No Limits.

[all images via lookbook]
Long Sleeve: Buffalo Exchange
Leggings, Beanie, Boots: Forever 21

It's Monday. Bleh. The weekend just went by way too fast. I felt like being super comfy today and not doing my hair, which is exactly what beanies are good for :) I had a dream that I was wearing a pair of trouser/harem pants.. I'm thinking it's a sign I need to go on the hunt for the perfect pair. I think they look great paired with some lace-up, heeled booties. On my want list. I found some inspiring outfits via lookbook. When I'm getting dressed in the mornings, I usually take a minute and go on lookbook to get ideas. Everyone has such creative and daring outfits. I love that fashion holds no limits.

Graffiti Beach

Shirt: Forever 21
Jeans: Forever 21
Flats: Steve Madden
Watch: Geneva

Today was a special day. I worked at my internship and an event was going on inside our store called Graffiti Beach. It's an event where a bunch of local designers and vendors come and set up booths and sell their merchandise. There was also music and a fashion show that will be going on tonight. If any of you have been to Unique LA, it was very similar, but a lot smaller. So it was a great experience and we were busy in the store all day! I got to do a few other displays of new merchandise. I can tell I'm already learning a lot because my creativeness is coming a lot easier when it comes to doing displays.

My outfit today was very simple but I felt like with the lace on the shirt, it pretty much dressed up my outfit enough. So I just threw on some jeans and some flats and I was good to go!

Tank: Thrift Store
Jeans: Forever 21
Belt: Forever 21
Flats: Steve Madden

Today I had my internship. I got to do another display table and I took some pictures this time. It's fun being able to put your creativeness to work :) There's a fashion show on Saturday being held at the store I intern at so I'm going to work in the store that day. I'm hoping I accomplish some networking considering a ton of local top magazine such as 944 are going to be there. I can't wait! It's going to be so exciting. Check out the website http://www.seedpeoplesmarket.com/ !

Yet another striped shirt. What can I say? :)

Blue&White Pinstripe

Shirt: Forever 21
Shorts: Volcom
necklace: Unique LA
Watch: Geneva
Flats: Steve Madden

Today, I've really been thinking a lot about how grateful I am for everything I have. It frustrates me that we live in a world where what we DO have is never good enough. We are constantly wanting what we don't have. Many times we forget to step back, and look at how blessed we are. It really makes you appreciate what you have, especially when you meet people who aren't as fortunate as you. Just a thought that's been floating through my mind all day.

Anywho, I love this shirt! It was so cheap too and it gives this outfit a little bit of a masculine touch; almost like wearing your boyfriends shirt but in your size :) It also can be dressed down, like how I wore it today, or dressed up to give a professional look. I love versatile clothing! Another pair of shorts that I dusted out from my drawers today. Sometimes I love that transition into new seasons because you pull out all the clothes you haven't been able to wear and it's almost like you just went shopping! That's what I've been experiencing this week with our warm weather here. I'm enjoying it as much as possible while it lasts!!

Eighty.

Faux-Leather Jacket: F21
Shirt: F21
Denim Shorts: Abercrombie&Fitch
Boots: Girl Talk
Purse: Vintage
It's Febuary and 80 degrees outside! I was so tempted to play hooky at work and go to the beach after class.. considering the beach is a few miles from school. It was tough, but I forced myself to go to work. I pulled out my denim shorts, dusted them off, and wore them for the first time in a while. My legs are so white! Can't wait to work on my tan :) I was iffy about wearing ankle boots with shorts.. but I decided to take the risk. By the way, this purse I got a few weeks ago for $8!! It was too good of a deal to pass up.
Did some thrift shopping with my mom yesterday. I had been looking for a pair of old, high-waisted Levi's to cut into shorts and I found a pair for $2. They're a tad bit on the large side but I figuered I might as well try considering they were so cheap. I really want to find a thrift store with good jewelry. If you know of any in Orange County let me know!

Wang.

These are a few of my favorites from Alexander Wang's collection at fashion week. He is one of my favorite designers. I love the way these dresses flow and the way the fabric is gathered at the perfect curves of the body.. although these models lack the curves. haha. I like that the dresses are soft and girly but have that masculine edge. Pretty much, I love everything about these pieces and wish i could afford one. But in the meantime, I'll just stare and dream :)
